Tips & Hints from the Mail Room
- The correct terminology to have printed on your envelopes is Address Service Requested (the Post Office no longer accepts Address Correction Requested).
- If you are using Address Service Requested, it can only be printed in 3 places - directly below the return address, directly above the return address or directly below the postage area - with a 1/4" clear space around the endorsement.
- The Post Office no longer uses the bulk permits that have a first line that say Bulk Rate or Bulk Permit. The current permit has a first line that says Presorted Standard.
